It starts with a call or a quote form. We set a time to come out, walk the property with you, and get honest about what will look good. Sometimes that means talking a customer out of lighting everything at once and starting with the front rooflines and two trees — a clean display beats a busy one every single time.

Then we measure. Every roofline, every peak, every gutter run, plus the height and the access. That turns into a materials list with exact footage, bulb spacing, and wire color chosen to disappear against your fascia during daylight. White wire on white trim, brown on brown, green in the shrubs.

Install day, a crew of two to four shows up with ladders, harnesses and a lift if your house needs one. Most single-family homes in Sevierville take three to six hours start to finish. We test every run before we pull out of the driveway and set your timer so the lights come on at dusk without you touching anything.

July through early October. That sounds absurd for a Christmas project, but our install window is short — late September through the first week of December — and the calendar tightens fast once Halloween passes.

There is a local wrinkle here that does not exist in most towns: Sevier County fills up with visitors from November on. Cabin owners and downtown businesses want their lights on before Winterfest kicks off, and that pushes a lot of our commercial work into late October. Residential dates around Thanksgiving week go first.

Book early and you pick your install week instead of taking what is left. Weather also matters — a wet stretch in late November can shuffle the schedule, and having room to move around a forecast is better for everyone than rushing a roof in the rain.
